Reservation information
Reservation information includes your chosen character, contact information collected at checkout, and payment and refund references. Stripe handles the payment details; full card details are not collected by this landing page.
At checkout, Stripe collects your name, email address, and payment details. We receive and keep your name, email address, chosen character, deposit amount, payment status, and Stripe payment and refund references. We never see or store your full card number.
Why this information is used
Reservation information is used to manage your place, process payments and refunds, provide reservation updates, and understand demand for the different characters. A reservation is not an opt-in to marketing emails.
Where privacy law requires a stated basis: we process reservation information to perform our contract with you (holding your place; taking and refunding payment), to meet legal obligations (payment, tax, and accounting records), and for our legitimate interest in understanding demand for the different characters in aggregate. A reservation is never, by itself, a basis for marketing.
A reservation is not marketing consent. We send marketing email only to people who separately opt in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. Batch updates, balance-payment, and shipping messages about your own reservation are service messages, not marketing.
Information kept in your browser
This page uses browser session storage to remember which test version you saw and to restore your character after returning from checkout. This version of the page does not include an analytics collector or a marketing signup form.
Optional post-deposit questions
The confirmation page contains optional questions about a future plan, where your Fig will live, and anything else you want to tell us. Answer submission is not connected in this build; answers are not sent or saved.
In this build, the questions are not connected: answers are not transmitted, saved, or linked to your reservation. If a connected version launches, answers will be stored with your reservation record, used only to shape the product and the plan, and deleted on the same schedule as the reservation record.
Service providers
Stripe provides checkout and payment processing.
This page is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, time of visit) for security and operation of the site.
Payment receipts are emailed by Stripe. Messages from us come from contact@hellofig.co, hosted with Google (Gmail).
This page runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools and sets no tracking cookies. The only browser storage used is session storage for the test version and your character choice, and it clears when you close the tab.
How long information is kept
We keep reservation records while the founding batch is open and for up to 12 months after it closes or your reservation ends, then delete or anonymise them. Payment and tax records are kept longer where the law requires (typically up to 7 years), by us and by Stripe.
If the project ends, reservation contact details are deleted within 90 days of the final refunds being issued, except records we must keep under payment, tax, or accounting law.
Access and deletion requests

Email contact@hellofig.co to ask for a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. We aim to respond within 30 days, and never later than the deadline your applicable law sets. We may ask you to confirm you control the email address used at checkout.
Processing locations
Reservation information is processed in the United States by us and by Stripe. If you are in the EEA or UK, your information is transferred to the United States under the applicable transfer terms, including standard contractual clauses where required.
Audio and the future product
This reservation page does not activate a microphone or collect audio. The companion is being designed to record audio openly, with glowing eyes while listening and a physical hardware mute. The product’s audio-processing details are separate from this reservation notice and remain to be finalised.
No audio is collected through this reservation, and reserving does not commit you to any audio processing. Before any figure ships, we will publish the product’s own privacy notice covering recordings, processing, retention defaults, and deletion controls. The $74 balance is only due at shipping, and your deposit stays refundable until then.
